Jens Eger
Jens Eger joined Deval in June 2018. Previously, he worked as a consultant and researcher for various development cooperation organizations, such as the German Development Institute (DIE), the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA), and DEval. His main research focus was on donors’ aid allocation and coordination. During his studies, he gained experience in civil society development cooperation as well as in German financial cooperation (KfW). As part of his master's degree in International Economics at the University of Göttingen, he completed a semester abroad in Development Statistics at the University of West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago. Therein, he focused on survey conception and evaluation. He completed his Bachelor in International Economics and Development at the University of Bayreuth, including an exchange semester ate the Keimyung University in Daegu South Korea.
