Work-life balance and equality
Helping our employees to balance their professional and private lives is important to us. We achieve this through our flexible working hours, the possibility of mobile working, various part-time models and raising awareness of the issue throughout the institute. In addition, we want to ensure that all levels are staffed on a gender-balanced basis and - in the spirit of equality - offer all employees the same development opportunities. A Gender Equality Officer and Deputy Gender Equality Officer, who are elected by our employees, support us in these efforts.
Further education and training
Human resources development is crucial for our knowledge retention and knowledge building. We have set ourselves the goal of supporting our employees in their competence development through concrete further education offers on the one hand and on the other hand through training on the job. At our Brown Bag Lunches or Coffee Talks there are regular opportunities for professional exchange on ongoing evaluations or exciting topics in the field of development cooperation or evaluation methodology. In some cases, outside audiences are also welcome.
