Kristina Wirtgen joined DEval in September 2017. Before she worked for GIZ in the DR Congo in a project of water sector reform. Her focus of work was the improvement of urban drinking water supply and quality control of water. She studied geography (Bachelor and Master) at the University of Bonn. Her main topics were medical geography, geographical development studies and qualitative and spatial data collection and analysis.
