Curiculum Vitae
Michèle Kiefer joined DEval as an evaluator in May 2020. After completing her studies in Applied Geography at the University of Trier and Anthropogeography at the University of Cologne with special emphasis on urban research and development and transformation research, she was a research assistant in the working group Urban and Social Geography at the Institute of Geography at the University of Cologne. Most recently she worked for the German Committee for UNICEF. During her field research trips to Kenya and Myanmar she used both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Her conceptual expertise is based in the fields of vulnerability and livelihood research.
