Curiculum Vitae
Lea Jechel began working as an evaluator at DEval in October 2020. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Socio Economics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and Finland. Afterwards she studied International Relations and Development Policy as a master’s programme at the Universtiy of Duisburg-Essen with study-related stays abroad in Ghana and Uganda. During her studies she gained practical experience at the DAAD, DIE-GDI and the Center for Democratic Development/Afrobarometer in Accra (Ghana). In her master thesis she analyzed the public opinion of African citizens on China’s development cooperation in their respective countries.
